About Chef Aldo

Chef Aldo is a second-generation chef, who grew up surrounded by the wonderful tastes and aromas created by two exceptional mentors - his chef parents.

From an early age, he learned the Italian cuisine of his parents’ heritage, and the German dishes they served in their own restaurants.

Chef Aldo began his professional career at the age of fourteen with vocational training in Germany, before moving to Switzerland, Italy, France and Thailand, garnering high praise and numerous awards along the way. Chef Aldo has his Master Chef degree and a master’s degree in commerce. He is also a certified trainer.

Before becoming a personal chef in 2003, Chef Aldo was the corporate chef for the Bertossi Group. Prior to that, he worked for a major, high-quality hospitality group in several positions, planning and opening new restaurants, hotels and food outlets, as well as designing and refining restaurant operations processes.

His passion nowadays is for delicious, home-cooked food – be it Asian or Italian, barbecue or seafood, classic or modern, Chef Aldo provides an exceptional, entertaining and educational experience – and there are no secrets: he answers every question, leaves you the recipe, and remains ‘culinarily yours’.
